Who Are We?
Eric Engdahl, MFA, PhD
Eric has over 35 years experience in arts education as a teaching artist, playwright, professional development leader, arts administrator, curriculum developer, and university professor. He has worked with Circus Flora, Colorado Ballet, Will & Co, A Live Act, The California Arts Project, East Bay Center for the Performing Arts, Mosaica Education, Midnight Shakespeare (SFSF), Create CA, CCSESA, and as Chair of the Department of Teacher Education at Cal State East Bay. He was one of the writers of the California Theatre Standards and Co-Chair of the Committee charged with writing the California Arts Framework. He has worked with Commission on Teacher Credentialing and Pearson Evaluations developing arts assessments and has led professional development workshops across the country. Lisa Edsall-Giglio, MFA, EdD
Lisa thrives on working with teachers, universities, and arts organizations. She does so to create sustainable roles and programming for all stakeholders in arts education. Lisa has over 35 years in arts education as a stage director here and abroad, a teaching artist, an arts strategy consultant, an arts administrator, and an adjunct professor of theater and education. Around the Bay Area Lisa works with classroom teachers and teaching artists on integrating arts learning strategies and experiences. Lisa has worked with principals and school staff in Turnaround Arts schools and others to create sustainable arts planning. Blending creating arts and administration, Lisa was Director of Education for the Tony Award-winning theatre company TheatreWorks S.V.
