Who Are We?
Eric Engdahl, MFA, PhD
Eric has over 35 years experience in arts education as a teaching artist, playwright, professional development leader, arts administrator, curriculum developer, and university professor. He has worked with Circus Flora, Colorado Ballet, Will & Co, A Live Act, The California Arts Project, East Bay Center for the Performing Arts, Mosaica Education, Midnight Shakespeare (SFSF), Create CA, CCSESA, and as Chair of the Department of Teacher Education at Cal State East Bay. He was one of the writers of the California Theatre Standards and Co-Chair of the Committee charged with writing the California Arts Framework. He has worked with Commission on Teacher Credentialing and Pearson Evaluations developing arts assessments and has led professional development workshops across the country. Lisa Edsall-Giglio, MFA, EdD
Lisa thrives on working with schools, universities, and arts organizations. Lisa serves on arts and education Committees in the Bay Area. Lisa's 30 + years in arts education includes work as an educator, adjunct professor in Teacher Ed. and Theatre, master teaching artist, stage director, arts integration specialist (ILSP of ACOE), arts administrator, and director of education for the Tony Award-winning theatre company TheatreWorks S.V. Lisa has worked with SF's Opera and SFs Circus, with SF's Symphony, and won a few directing awards at the SF Fringe Festival. Having worked, lived, and studied abroad has enhanced Lisa's skills in delivering professional development, and consulting with schools and arts organizations for arts grants rollouts, creating sustainable programs and their funding streams for schools and arts organizations.
